0029_teak_bali_family_gathering_2016_003Every year Teak Bali organizes a Team Building day for the staff and their families. On this year’s program was a full day of water fun at the one of the top ranked water parks in all of Asia. Located in the heart of Kuta, Waterbom Bali caters to all age groups. Various water attractions ranging from kiddy pools and lazy rivers up to extreme adrenaline pumping water slides. This must be the perfect place to entertain even the smallest toddlers up to the older generation of the Teak Bali family. On July 31st 2016, the entire team with their families gathered together at water park and this amazing day was organized by our lovely office manager Mrs. Ayu. We were all welcomed by Mrs. Ayu and her family who guided us to a private family cabana to start a day of exciting water features.

0029_teak_bali_family_gathering_2016_002The entire team enjoyed the 17 attractions that Waterbom Bali has to offer. Beginning at “Funtastic” where the little ones loved to play with the water cannons, pull ropes and mini slides.  The fun didn’t stop after the kid’s zone, the team continued their journey to explore a number of other exciting attractions.  The next stop was at the “Super Bowl” were we all jumped onto the two person tubes to get flushed down the giant bowl. Next, we decided to try the neighboring “Boomerang”, with a 60-degree half-pipe in the middle of the ride. This all was still not exciting enough for the dare devils in our team, the next stop was at the “Climax”. A small chamber 16 meters above the ground with a trap door right below your feet which opens up and takes you on a near vertical drop with 2.5 G‐force speeds.

0029_teak_bali_family_gathering_2016_001At the second part of the day we enjoyed floating in the jungle themed “Lazy River”, raced each other on the “Twin Racers” and sliding down the longest ride in the park the “Pipeline”. The favorite attraction for our youngest thrill seekers was the “Python”. A very long water slide where up to 3 persons share a circular tube, facing each other for unexpected twists and turns to end up in a large splash pool. The day ended with a group’s photo of the Teak Bali family with the mascot of the park.

After an exhausting day filled with excitement and adventure the Teak Bali family came together for a late lunch in one of the several food venues that the park has to offer. While enjoying a cold drink and a delicious Indonesian meal the best attractions of the day were once again reviewed. On behalf of the entire Teak Bali team, I would like to thank Mrs. Ayu and Mr. Danny for an unforgettable day of fun and pleasure. We all looking forward to the next Teak Bali’s family day!
